Marcus Kresin
I am Owner and Managing Director at North Pole Consulting with over 25 years of IT - Retail and Travel, Transportation and Logistics related experience.
I have advised numerous clients on a variety of projects, including corporate strategy, due diligence reviews, business plan development, restructuring, process optimization and business / IT process optimization. My clients are varying from Start-Up projects until 3rd generation family businesses.
I like working with people – identifying together new processes and business innovation. Bringing it together to life - like the example of a midwife. It is not my approach to “copy and paste” strategies into the projects. I would rather like to develop solutions with the existing teams and to use best practice from other projects and industries. My level of involvement reaches from short workshops up to mid-term interim management mandates.
With my analytical and technical background, I can provide meaningful metrics that identify the key leverage points necessary to improve the time and quality of the business decision making process.
During the last years I have been able to prove leadership skills involving, coordinating, and managing projects and motivating teams to achieve their objectives and transformation processes. I love achieving corporate goals through strategic planning, process optimization, staff development, communication, and project management.
Especially in eCommerce, large ERP and Inventory migration projects I have been able to show ability to design and maintain high availability processes for mission-critical businesses.
I am married and live close to Nuremberg with my wife and one child.
